About the Area
The National Butterfly Center is a private nonprofit organization. This 100-acre native plant botanical garden and wildlife preserve has been established by the North American Butterfly Association to advance our mission of education and conservation.
Easy Access Species:
Typical valley specialties such as Plain Chachalaca, Great Kiskadee, Green jay, Long-billed Thrasher, Altamira Oriole and Olive Sparrow.
